This is a really fun project to choose fabric for. Pick fabrics that reflect the mood of each flower and match the actual flower color. Hills should look, feel, and “move” like forests or meadows, depending on the look you are trying to achieve. When choosing fabrics for the quail, look for some that resemble feathers in various shades of browns. Batiks are great choices because there is so much color movement throughout the fabric. Look for fabrics that have textures that look like trees or pine cones.
