For the girl who painted her feelings into this canvas, and then asked me to bring a crow to life upon it. Not just any crow—hers. But still a piece of me.

She asked for something shiny. I gave her gold. Not just on her head, but woven into the wings— to remind her that light lives inside her, even when the world feels dim.

She painted the layers. I painted the wings. Together, we made a crow who stands tall in the grass, facing her own horizon, but never far from home.

This crow carries our connection— wild, true, evolving.

She is a reminder:

You can leave the nest. You are still held. You are still seen. And you are always loved.
