Semi-Solid Superwash Shaniko Glacier by Freia Yarns
Our Shaniko Superwash merino is grown in Oregon and milled in North Carolina. Shaniko wool is supplied under the Responsible Wool Standard, protecting animal welfare, social welfare and land health. Not only does the yarn feel wonderful but you are supporting ethically grown wool and respectful farming practices.
The yarn is hand-dyed in North Adams, Ma., with acid dyes using processes that are gentle to the environment. As with all our yarns, we strongly suggest you knit a swatch when making a gauge-specific item as with washing, the gauge will expand significantly.
