Happy Independence Day! Here is a very simple starry quilt that you can piece in a day! All you need are two 2 1/2” strip rolls, 5 fat quarters, some background fabric and a a few hours. Sawtooth Stars are very basic stars to learn how to piece. This quilt looks wonderful in patriotic fabrics, but would work equally well in your school colors, western prints, or anything else that strikes your fancy.
Materials Needed:
5 Fat Quarters
15 - 1/4 yard cuts
1 1/4 yard background fabric
4 1/2 yards quilt backing
68” x 80” quilt batting
(We used the leftover strips for a pieced binding)
